How Many Pages Can A Shredder Shred At One Time?

Dec 13, 2023 Leave a message

We all know that a paper shredder can shred paper, but many friends don't know how many pages a paper shredder can shred at one time. Sometimes the shredder jams when a large number of paper shredders are inserted, so it is necessary to understand clearly how many pages can be shredded at any time. How many pages is enough~

General shredders can shred 13-15 sheets at a time, and large shredders can shred 60-70 sheets at a time. When shredding paper, be sure to use it according to the shredding capacity that the machine can withstand, so as to avoid abnormal paper jams in the machine, excessive motor load and burning, etc.

What should you pay attention to when operating a paper shredder:
1. Before starting the machine, please check whether the voltage used is consistent with the rated voltage of the shredder. If not, the power supply needs to be replaced.
2. In order to extend the service life of the shredder, the normal shredding volume should be lower than the maximum shredding volume.
3. If too much paper is fed, the machine will automatically reverse and eject the paper. Please remove the excess paper at this time, and the shredder will resume normal operation.
4. The shredder is equipped with a reflective infrared sensor device, which is sensitive to strong light. Do not let strong light shine directly into the paper inlet.
5. Please do not rag, plastic, hard metal and other materials. When using, please do not get clothes corners, ties, hair, etc. into the paper inlet.
6. When cleaning the casing of the shredder, please cut off the power supply and wipe it gently with a soft cloth dipped in soft soapy water or detergent. Do not let the solution enter the inside of the machine. Do not use bleach, gasoline or diluent to scrub.
7. The shredding bucket must be in the correct position for the shredder to work properly. Please clear the shredder in time when it is full of paper.
8. The cutting tools of the shredder are sharp and precise. To avoid accidental damage, non-professionals are not allowed to disassemble the machine by themselves. If a shredder failure is found, the maintenance department of the agency should be notified in time.
9. When too much paper is shredded at one time, the paper to be shredded must be placed vertically into the paper inlet without tilting it.
10. Do not let sharp objects touch the casing to avoid affecting the appearance of the machine.
